My name is Kim Jones
End-of-Life Doula
As a young adult, I stood by my mother's side as she took her final breaths, holding her hand tightly in mine. I placed the cross of her rosary beads between our hands and softly recited the Lord's Prayer. In that moment, I felt lost and unprepared, with no true understanding of what the dying process entailed.
Years later, as an adult, I again found myself holding the hand of someone I loved deeply - my father - as he passed from this world. This time, I knew what to expect. By then, I had chosen a career in emergency medicine and had spent years supporting people and families during life's most critical moments.
Through these deeply personal experiences, I discovered a calling to transform my own pain into something meaningful for others. I became passionate about guiding and supporting those who are navigating the sacred journey of life's final chapter. It is both an honor. and a privilege to walk alongside others; offering compassion, comfort, and understanding during this most profound time.
Why choose an End-of-Life Doula?
A compassionate professional who helps people and their loved ones navigate the emotional, practical, and spiritual aspects of dying.

Faith
As an End of Life Doula, faith takes on a profoundly personal and spiritual meaning. It isn't just about religious belief - it's about holding space for the unknown, for mystery, and for whatever brings peace to the dying and their loved ones
Integrity
As an End of Life Doula, personal integrity is the heart of my work. I hold sacred the stories, emotions, and experiences shared with me, honoring each journey with confidentiality, compassion, and respect. I walk beside individuals and families with authenticity, non-judgment, and presence - offering support without imposing beliefs or expectations.
Nuture
As an End of Life Doula, my role is rooted in nurturing - not only to the person who is dying but also their loved ones. I provide emotional support, gentle guidance, and a steady presence throughout the end-of-life journey.

Awareness
An end-of-life doula brings awareness to dying by gently guiding individuals and families to see death not as a medical event, but as a sacred, natural part of life. Through compassionate conversation, education, and presence, a doula helps normalize the process, reducing fear and confusion.
Legacy
An end-of-life doula can help create a legacy project by guiding individuals in capturing their essence, stories, values, and wisdom in a meaningful, lasting way. These projects are as unique as each person and are designed to leave behind a sense of connection, love, and memory for those who remain.
Stress
End of life can be very stressful. There are a lot of unknowns and situations to navigate through. An End of Life Doula can help with this process and relieve some of that stress.
